Week Eleven

Week Eleven

With Easter and the school holidays just around the corner, right now is the perfect time to stop and reflect. I am incredibly proud of A3's growth throughout the term; how they have come together as a learning community and their personal achievements and progress. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your hard work; for extending and supporting their learning at home, and for raising such caring, curiously minded and quirky kids.

This week we have and will be doing a lot of problem solving, with both our literacy and maths programmes tied into our Easter Technology challenge. A3 will be making baskets, that need to be able to hold a few chocolate eggs, using wool, balloons and PVA glue. Today they solved some maths problems to help me work out how much of these resources are required. They also had to read through and create accurate diagrams for the task's instructions. In addition to this technology challenge we will be finishing off our inquiry actions and taking part in an A-Team Easter Egg Hunt which will test our mathematical knowledge, ability to collaborate and problem solve.
